Empowering Youth Voices Pursuing a Sustainable Present and a "Greener" Future is a panel discussion and Q & A event presented by Azure Beach Public Library and in association with the UN initiative and UN Youth Australia, for those of 15 to 24 years looking for some ideas to help look after the planet.

Feel inspired and envisage in depth explorations in this subject.  Connect with like-minded individuals, share ideas, add your ideas and concerns to the panel's.

The discussion will be focused on sustainable development and various environmental issues, such as climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss, leveraging technology for a "green energy" future and transitioning with renewable power resources into the era of clean energy.

This inter-generational panel discussion celebrates International Youth Day's theme for 2025 which is "Youth Empowerment for a Sustainable Future."  The session will be 1 hour, approximately and 45 minutes of this allotted time will be dedicated to the panel in conversation and debate.  This will be followed by approximately 15 minutes for questions and answers, engaging the panel and audience in topical conversation, both challenging and informative.  Intermittent Q & A, in between topics and/or speakers, may be possible, also.

The audience will also be able to share their thoughts and questions on social media using a dedicated event hashtag.  To that end, a social media wall will be created to showcase the real-time conversations.

Please join us!  This session will be webcast and recorded for streaming.  We will be located in the Azure Beach Public Library's spacious Azure Room theatre.  This space is not far from refreshments available at the Library Cafe.
