About the Event:
This interactive event will empower youth with practical skills in recycling, upcycling, and DIY composting. Participants can explore hands-on activities, including gardening tips, eco-friendly arts and crafts, and learning sustainable practices to implement in their daily lives.

Attendees can also join a team-based challenge to brainstorm innovative solutions to local environmental issues and test their knowledge in a fun eco-trivia game—exciting sustainable prizes await!

Calling all change makers aged 15–24!

Join us this International Youth Day for an inspiring and interactive morning at Azure Beach Public Library. This year’s global theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” is about empowering young people to harness the digital world for good — and we’re bringing it to life right here in your community.

Our guest speaker, Rachael Sarra — a celebrated digital artist and youth advocate — will share her journey of blending creativity, culture, and technology to amplify youth voices and support sustainable action.

You’ll also participate in hands-on digital storytelling activities using tools like Padlet and Canva, where you’ll collaborate with others to design bold, imaginative solutions for real-world issues. Whether you're passionate about the environment, human rights, or just want to make your online presence count — this event is for you.

Become the Change our Planet Needs 

With International Youth Day ahead of us the Azure Beach Public Library invites young members of the community to attend our environmental action sustainability workshop "Youth for the Planet"!

 If you are between the ages of 15-24 join us in a dynamic, hands-on sustainability workshop, where you will be able to craft your own sustainability action plan and make friends with other people looking to support positive environmental change for our planet. 

This event features a presentation and Q&A from a guest speaker from our local environmental activism community, where you will have the opportunity to voice your questions and thoughts on all things sustainability. Expect innovation, conversation and a community of like-minded individuals ready to make a difference!
