Art Attacks Back! Sustainable arts and crafts at Azure Beach Library~

Art Attacks Back!
The Azure Beach Library Sustainable Art Challenge

Did you know?
You can create art from anything.
Even your household garbage!

In celebration of International Youth Day 2025 and it's theme "Youth Empowerment for a Sustainable Future", Azure Beach Public library will be holding an art challenge. What's
the challenge? To create a sustainable artistic masterpiece using your household recyclables and garbage!

Come along, bring some friends and have an awesome time making your beautiful pieces! Crafting and art equipment will be provided by the library, the only things you'll need to bring are your household recyclables and (clean please!) garbage to make into your art.

All pieces made as part of the event will be displayed around Azure Beach Public Library for your friends, family, and community to see. We can't wait to see you there!

Empowered Youth, Sustainable Tomorrow: Be Heard. Be Bold. Lead the Change

The future needs your voice — and this International Youth Day is your moment to speak up. Your voice matters more than ever.

We’re excited to invite the young people aged 15–24 to attend Empowered Youth, Sustainable Tomorrow, a 90-minute youth dialogue session celebrating the 2025 United Nations theme: Youth Empowerment for a Sustainable Future. You’ll hear from Satara Uthayakumaran, Australia’s 2025 Youth Representative to the UN, followed by interactive discussions on sustainability challenges and local leadership. Participants will contribute to a Youth Action Wall and collaborate to create a collective message that reflects the voices of young people, which will be shared with the local council. Light refreshments will be provided to keep participants energised, and the session will include a range of youth-led, creative activities designed to inspire discussion, collaboration, and community engagement.

Why just watch change happen when you can be part of it?

This is your opportunity to be heard by local decision-makers, connect with empowered youth leaders, and add your voice to the growing movement of youth-led action. You’ll leave with fresh inspiration, meaningful connections, and the power to shape a better future by sharing your ideas and engaging in your community.

Join an inspiring event designed by youth, for youth — where sustainability, leadership, and local action come together in one powerful afternoon at Azure Beach Library.

We look forward to seeing you there!
