 with an Open Mic

 "Poetry Slams Climate Change"
If you are aged between 15-24 you are invited to

stand up and have your say - let the world know what you think.
You will have 3 minutes and 30 seconds to wow your audience.

Poems must be themed around Climate Change.
Voting will be instantaneous with live audience polling.

Join Azure Beach Public Library in a rich hands on learning experience designed to ignite interest and proactive conservation for Australian bees.

The United Nations' annual International Youth Day is coming up on Tuesday 12 August 2025. Sustainability is the name of the game this year, and Azure Beach Public Library is proud to present a community workshop in collaboration with Kids Connecting Nature to learn about biodiversity and natural conservation.

Kids will be able to get hands-on and build their own bee hotel to take home and encourage local biodiversity in their backyard! Join us for a creative and collaborative opportunity to engage with this important subject, and hear from Kids Connecting Nature at Azure Beach Public Library this International Youth Day!

Help Save The Planet: You can reduce plastic waste!

Be part of the solution, join a special workshop for young people (15-24) to develop strategies to help reduce plastic pollution. Guest speaker representing Take 3 for the sea will give a short presentation on what the company is doing to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans, have a look at their website https://www.take3.org/. At the end of workshop you will make a video to share on your socials. Limited spots available, 20 only, click here to secure your place.
