To celebrate International Youth Day, Azure Beach Library invites young aspiring filmmakers to a conversation about how to be more sustainable in their film making practices.
Did you know that blockbuster films can produce an average 2,840 ton of Co2 per production? It takes the equivalent of 3,700 acres of forest to absorb just one of those film's Co2 a year.
Please join filmmakers, Director of “The Green Film” (2022) and “Bring Me Back” (2025) Dan Simpson and Sustainability Co-Ordinator Ashley Andrews “No One But You” (2023) on the future of film making and how it can and is becoming more sustainable. Come and listen to an hour-long conversation from industry leaders, followed by a 30-minute Q&A, and a show case of equipment you can loan from the library to make your films.
