What: This is a presentation on open source software!
Why?
Growing tired of Adobe jacking up the prices on all your creative software while adding useless features and harvesting your artworks to be used to train AI? Is Windows 11 barely usable and rife with advertisements on an operating system you paid for? Are you tired of having barely any control over what your computer does?
This presentation will show you a better way of computing. A way that's not only free to use but can also teach you that you can change the world and not have to bow down to mega corporations ruining your computing usage. We will show you how to use open source alternatives such as Linux, Blender and Krita so that you can take control over how you use your computer. We will also show you the wonderful community behind all this software and hope to convince you to help contribute to it. That's right, with open-source software, everyone can have a say behind the design and programming of these apps.
