What is International Youth Day?
International Youth Day is commemorated each year on 12 August, and aims to raise awareness of youth issues. Each year a theme is selected - this year's theme is "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development." The event is a United Nations initiative, and they provide a number of materials for libraries hosting IYD events.Youth Click to Make a Better World

making our world more sustainable.
Join us at Azure Beach Library on Monday, August 12 for an interactive event for youth aged 15 to 24 years. We will be joined by our guest speaker Gavin Choong, the 2024 Youth Representative to the United Nations.
