In celebration of Refugee Week, Azure Beach Public Library (ABPL) will be holding a Human Library event! All of us at ABPL are very excited to invite all you to this very special event which we hope you can attend.
What is a Human Library?
A Human Library is a type of event that aims to minimise preconceived notions between people who under normal circumstances would never talk to each other. More info found at https://humanlibrary.org
The theme of this Human Library, "Recognising Our Community", coincides with Refugee Week to highlight the members of our community that come from culturally diverse backgrounds. The human 'books' will have an opportunity to share knowledge about their culture and their own life stories.
