Human Library Event - Bonds formed through love

Human Library

Bonds formed through love

What is a human Library?

A human library is a library event where you are able to learn and hear about peoples first hand experiences (as if they were a book you were checking out from the library). You can 'borrow' these human books and have one on one conversations with them during the event.

Bonds formed through love

Azure Beach Public Library is hosting this event in recognition of Social Inclusion Week. Adoption can often come across with mixed messages, some that are positive and some that are negative and the process can be complex.

By attending this event you will be informed on how adoption works in Australia, the benefits of adopting, the different types of adoption and have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more.

This event will have a specialist from Family and Community Services (FACS) and discussions with two families speaking about their experiences with adoption. Talking and learning from these stories will be educational and enlightening.

Places are limited please RSVP to attend.
