If you have answered YES, Welcome to join the Azure Beach Library event titled "Open your new world: Let the “book” talk!"
Introducing Human Library
The Human Library was created in Copenhagen, Denmark in the spring of 2000. It builds a positive platform of conversations without stereotypes and prejudices. Readers can borrow real people from the human library to talk, discuss and share ideas.
About this event
This event invites four "books" including the following aspects related to Aboriginal culture:
- Sharing story of growing up Indigenous in Sydney
-A storyteller through her artworks
- How do break down the barriers and stereotypes and celebrate diversity
- Fosters respect in the community
The readers can borrow a "book" for 15 minutes, and they can access 1:1 talks.

Nullah Orkins: An Azure Beach resident who is keen to make a difference and share his story
Lowanna Henderson: Likes to talk stories through her works
Jandamarra Hurley: Resilient single young father. Overcoming eye illness and finding a part-time job at a book provider.
